ONLINE PURCHASES OF BICYCLES
Most standard bicycle lines we carry may be purchased online, are restricted by our Dealer Agreement to in-store pick-up. We can only sell bicycles that have been fully assembled by our staff.
Bicycles eligible to be shipped will be pre-assembled and fully adjusted. Brompton bicycles are simply folded for shipping after pre-assembly has been completed. Full-size bicycles will be minimally disassembled: front wheel, pedals, handlebar and saddle removed.
If you're shopping on our website for convenience, or because you want to take advantage of special service or merchandise offers (or buying someone a surprise gift!), you can pick it up at our store during regular business hours, once you've received an email that your item is ready. Service purchased online can be redeemed anytime, but time frame for completing repairs will be dependent upon current workload.
Gift-wrapping is available upon request on items other than bicycles.
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY IN CHICAGOLAND
Local delivery and setup in Chicago and nearby suburbs is available with the purchase of Brompton bicycles, electric and cargo bikes, and most adult bikes purchased through our website. If you choose this service, we will contact you to schedule a convenient time to deliver the item to your home and office, and include a brief demonstrations of the bicycle's features, and folding and electronic systems if applicable.
FREE SHIPPING on orders of $75 or more
Select the FREE SHIPPING option and we'll ship your order via USPS (US Postal Service) or FedEx.
Free shipping is available on orders of $75 or more shipped to a single U.S. address, after promotions and discounts are applied. Gift cards, packaging, and taxes do not qualify toward the minimum purchase requirement. Eligible customers must select this option during checkout in order to receive free shipping.
Free shipping is not available on cargo bikes, electric bikes, trikes, and custom builds.
We can only ship to a residential address that matches the billing address of the credit card used to make your purchase. Under no circumstances will we ship items to PO Boxes, or global shipping lockers or warehouses. At this time, we do not ship internationally.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY STUFF TO BE READY FOR PICKUP OR TO SHIP
Most in-stock items ordered online will be ready to ship or be picked up within 1-2 days. Most Brompton bicycle models will be ready within 1-10 days, as indicated in the description. Custom Brompton orders take about 8 weeks. Click here for more information.
Delivery times vary based on shipping method and location. Priority Mail takes 1-3 business days. FedEx Ground will usually take 1-4 business days in the lower 48 states from Chicago.
All purchases made at Cosmic Bikes are backed by our 30-day guarantee, and may be returned within that time for full credit, exchange or refund. Returns and exchanges must be accompanied by original receipt. Returned merchandise must be in LIKE-NEW condition. Items that are opened, damaged, or do not have a receipt may be denied refund or exchange.
Items that are deemed to be defective will be processed in accordance with applicable manufacturer's or vendor's warranties.
Returns of orders made through our website require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, available by calling or emailing us at [email protected], subject line: RETURNS.
Cosmic Bikes reserves the right to modify its exchange and return policy.
Refunds will be made in the form of the original payment, except cash refunds over $50 will be issued by company check. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Please allow 7-10 business days for a credit to appear on your credit card or PayPal statement. Once we process a refund, we have no control over its timing, as that is strictly determined by the credit card issuing bank.
